The crack of the baseball bat is one of my favorite Summer sounds. I remember dad would hit flies for the boys with his Louisville Slugger, tried and true. I would sit in the dugout with a bag of sunflower seeds, pretending like I was part of the team. I miss the sounds and smells of those baseball Summers.
